Call for papers for Neohumanism in Tartu Day

October 12th will be dedicated to the topics of neohumanism and the legacy of Karl Morgenstern, the founder of classical studies at Tartu, the first director of the University Library and the founder of the University’s Art Museum. According to Morgenstern’s multifacetious activity, the topics can include study of classical languages and literature, art history and aesthetics, archaeology and history, philosophy and the history of literature. The focus can be also on different regions where Morgenstern worked (not only Estonia, but also Magdeburg, Halle, Danzig) or on his connections to other reserachers or institutions. The languages are English and German.
